Thousands of vehicles recalled by Chrysler.
The Chrysler Group is recalling over 489,000 vehicles for various auto defects. Some of the models being recalled include: Dodge Durango, the new Dodge Avenger Sedan and the Jeep Liberty.
Chrysler is recalling approximately 328,424 Durango SUVs because of a risk hazard associated with overheating that has been linked to an integrated circuit within the instrument cluster of the vehicles.
According to the Chrysler Group, the recall includes 2004 to 2006 model year Durango SUVs.
They are also recalling 2008 Dodge Avenger Sedans due to a problem with the door latches on the new models.
Lastly, 149,605 Jeep Liberty vehicles, made between 2006 -2007 are being recalled due to air conditioning glitches.
Chrysler Dealers will be notifying owners of the recalls.
